Button Bracelet

My little sister loves Twilight! Well in the movie Bella wears a little shell bracelet. I made a simple little garter st. bracelet and put some mother of pearl type buttons on it. Needless to say she went gaga over it. So I just thought I would share it!

Materials needed
yarn: I used a sport weight brown but you can use whatever you will just get a bigger/smaller
size 2 knitting needles again use what you got or just try it and see what you get
Buttons: you will need at least one button to close it after that it is all up to you!

CO 4 st and knit in garter st(knit all rows) until bracelet fits around your wrist. Then make a button loop I chose to do an applied button loop you can find it HERE! Or you can crochet one doesn't really matter just make sure it is large enough to fit around your button. Then go back and arrange your buttons (this was the hardest part for me I have too many buttons) Sew them on and enjoy!

Ok so this is just something I came up with as I knit it. There may be problems with it. Let me know and I will fix them.

Remember to make these your own! Have fun with it and let me see what you got.

Then do the same length of Icord as before. Block and enjoy.

I blocked mine by pinning it and then just steaming it with an iron. (do not touch the knit with the iron) Then let it dry.

You can make these for children too by just adjusting the stitches. It fit my sons head just how it is though.

AGAIN: Do let me know if there are any problems with this pattern. Being my first time and the fact that my handwriting looks like that of a 5 year old may lead to some errors.

Let's do it over

Ok well I have gone back and taken out some of my not so positive blogs. I don't see any point in telling people what I think without them asking to tell you the truth. I am only human you have to understand I have no idea what I want from life and I am constantly evolving and changing my mind. Not that I have changed my position from the last time I was on here. I am just saying I have entered a time in my life where I want things to be much lighter.

I did it times 2

That's right folks I have not 1 but 2 babies. Arriana was born on June 26 and in only 2 pushes if I may brag a bit. She was 7lb 4oz and the cutest things I have seen since her big brother. She is such a little daddy's girl she can be crying and her daddy can pick her up or sometimes just say something and she will just calm down. Oh and don't even get me started on her big brother. All day long he is giving her kisses and hugs or sometimes just checking on her in her bassinet. They make me so happy you couldn't even understand.

Lets get to know me

Ok I am not usually good at doing blogs but I think I would like to keep one up. I am a stay at home mom to one. I have a almost nine month old named Ethan, and he is the love of my life. The only one that can come near him is my wonderful husband Zach. I have been with him since I was 15 and I love hum so very much and could not imagine my life without him.

I am not a very exciting person by no means but I like me. I enjoy knitting very much as you may be able to tell by my name. I also enjoy puzzles and antiques which is why I was seen as an old lady when I was in high school and well am still today. I dont like going out and partying its just not my thing I like going out dont get me wrong but I live in the south and well the only thing to do arround here is go out to the woods with everyone from 12 year olds to 30 year olds and get drunk and high. You can see how this would be a situation you would not want to get into. I am pretty sure that I am not supposed to live in the south. Yet here I am and my family is here so I guess I can deal with it.

I am not sure who would want to read about my knitting or my life but I guess someone out there might. If anyone has questions/comments or what have you feel free to say so, or if you just want to tell me about your blogg.

Untill next time....
